✯About City Plumbing Supply

City Plumbing Supply has a long & rich family heritage dating back to 1928 when Frank L. Fossatti started Victoria Plumbing Co. His sons Greg, Frank (Potts) and Xavier helped run the family business for many years.

In 1963, Xavier saw the need for a plumbing supply business to compliment Victoria Plumbing's service business, so he opened City Plumbing Supply in Victoria, TX.  Originally, City Plumbing Supply was located at 509 E. Juan Linn St. directly across the street from his family's Victoria Plumbing Co. In 1986, Xavier opened a second location at 4305 N. Vine Street. Five years later, after the Vine Street location really began to hold its own water”, Xavier made the decision to close the Juan Linn store. It was decided to move all inventory and employees to the Vine Street location.

Three of Xavier's children, Beth, David & Dan, have run the family-owned business and, much like their father, have remained active in the daily operations of CPS for most of their lives.  With Xavier's passing away in early 2024 at the age of 94, the Fossati's have been engaged in seeking a "like-kind" family to pass on their business…and this family-owned business will remain family-owned by the Zacek’s beginning in May 2024.  The Fossati’s will all remain active in the daily operations for 1 – 2 years to help Zacek’s transition into the management role, with their son-in-law, Clark Pustka (married to daughter, McKenna) leading the CPS team into the future, along with existing longtime employees – Oscar Tabora, Alex Cavazos, Kenneth Fishbeck & Willie Fossati.

Much like the Fossati's, the Zacek Family has deep roots in the Crossroads Area with their family established in this area since the early 1940s.  Shana Zacek is the “Woman- owned Business” owner and sole member / manager of the LLC.  The Fossati Family has been extremely gracious to our entire family… Shana & John Zacek along with McKenna & Clark Pustka with their child, Wren, who is already running the floors of the showroom & offices checking up on everyone!  Our family is happy to call the Victoria Area “Our Home” and sincerely hope that both existing customers and new customers alike will come in and give us an opportunity to serve you just as the Fossati’s have over the past years…not just selling you a plumbing part or fixture but providing exceptional service levels anchored by years of knowledge and experience.
